Joy in 2020
Joy! We often us the word interchangeably with happiness!
Growing up as a Christian I had heard it was different but until this year had not really looked more into it. It is described as “An emotion we get by the anticipation of something great”. It is a little hard to explain that even through all the changes and uncertainty in 2020, I have been able to feel Joy and be looking for it. I still have ups and downs like any person but it has really helped this year to be looking for it as I read my Bible and to be able to use it as a focus for the year.
I find sometimes it helps to write something out in my handwriting, makes it more real to me. Plus teachers say if you write it down or say it out loud you learn it better.
